ZBrain CoI (Center of Intelligence)

ZBrain Center of Intelligence (CoI) is a discovery platform that helps organizations identify department-specific AI use cases before investing in full-scale development. It transforms manual process descriptions into structured AI opportunity reports. These reports use prompt engineering and feasibility analysis to estimate implementation effort, expected returns, and impact on business.

Users across business and technical functions can collaborate within CoI to submit, improve, and approve discovery reports. The platform supports department-wise tracking, role-based access, and performance monitoring of deployed use cases.

Core functions of the CoI platform

Submit business use cases for AI automation

Users can highlight recurring inefficiencies, manual operations, or potential opportunities for automation. Each inputs are structured by department, sub-department, and priority, and contextualized through G&O mapping—classifying each as a growth, optimization, or innovation use case. Once submitted, the use case is processed using prompt engineering to generate a structured discovery report.

Generate discovery reports

CoI uses a backend flow to produce structured reports that include:

  • Overview of the use case

  • Business objective mapping

  • Estimated implementation effort

  • Approximate ROI (e.g., cost savings or efficiency gains)

  • MVP-level feasibility recommendations

This output helps teams assess which ideas are worth exploring further.

Review and improve reports

Reports move through five stages: Draft → Under Review → In Progress → Deferred → Deployed

Before deployment, reports can be:

  • Edited manually

  • Improved using chat-based interactions

  • Revised based on reviewer feedback

Once marked as deployed, the report is locked and becomes available for post-deployment analytics.

Track AI use case performance

Deployed reports can be monitored through:

  • ROI entries and outcome metrics

  • Agent usage and pending task tracking

These insights help teams understand which AI use cases are delivering value.

Collaborate with controlled access

CoI supports role-based access. It supports the following roles:

  • Admin: Sets up the company and manages access control. Cannot create use cases.

  • Executive: Has full access to all use cases created under the company. Can assign collaborators and change access levels for use cases.

  • Operator: Can only see and edit the use cases they have created. Cannot view company-wide use cases unless explicitly granted access.

All invited users join via tenant-specific access and land on the CoI dashboard after login.

How CoI supports early AI planning

CoI helps teams lay the groundwork for AI adoption by capturing and evaluating opportunities for automation. Users can use CoI to:

  • Collect ideas for AI automation across business units

  • Evaluate whether an idea is feasible for AI implementation

  • Estimate ROI before committing to technical development

  • Align teams on high-priority AI opportunities

  • Build a pipeline of discovery content for further planning

CoI is not intended for building agent workflows or system integration. It acts as a front-end intake and evaluation layer.

How it works

  1. Admin setup

    • Configure your company profile.

    • Define verticals and functions.

    • Add users and assign roles (admin, executive, operator).

  2. Use case creation

    • Executives or operators add use cases linked to specific functions.

    • Fill in business need, current pain points, desired outcome, and solution scope.

    • Upload supporting documents or discovery files, if needed.

  3. Sharing and collaboration

    • Share use cases via role-based access.

    • Collaborators receive in-app and email notifications to contribute.

  4. Dashboard and reporting

    • Track the number of use cases created and deployed.

    • View use case-level metrics, agent usage, infrastructure costs, capability and ROI.

    • Use filters to narrow down by department or status.
