ZBrain 2.3.0 introduces prompt import capabilities for faster configuration, expands control through refined role-based access in flows, and improves reporting accuracy, evaluation filtering, and export reliability. This release also includes a new about ZBrain page for greater platform transparency and policy access.
You can now reuse saved prompts from the prompt library directly into the system instructions section under Apps > Configure Bot. This feature enables users to import prompt text and optionally bring in associated settings such as model type, temperature, and token limits via a simple checkbox. This import capability reduces manual setup, ensures consistency across apps, and streamlines prompt reuse.
User filters in reports have been refined to return only sessions linked to actual users, improving the accuracy of user activity tracking and analytics.
You can now search agents by name or ID with case-insensitive matching and sort results by agent name, status, or creation date. Additional filters allow narrowing by agent entity and status.
Logs support filtering by status and validated date ranges, making it easier to find and review specific evaluations.
Newly defined roles for flows provide more precise control over visibility and permissions:
The operator role can view only the entities explicitly shared with them by an admin, access the run history of shared flows and agents without the ability to modify them, and operate shared assets only if execution permissions are granted. Operators do not have visibility into any connections in the system.
The builder role can view and update entities they have created or that have been shared with them by an admin. They can manage only their connections and cannot access or modify connections created by other users.
The admin role has full access to all system entities, including flows, agents, knowledge bases, apps, and connections. Admins can create, update, share, and delete any resource, and are responsible for managing user permissions and visibility across all roles.
Exports through the data migration module are now faster, even for small datasets. Any errors encountered during export are clearly reported in both the UI and API responses, thereby improving transparency and facilitating easier troubleshooting.
A new ‘About ZBrain’ page is available from the footer and main navigation. It displays the current deployed version of the platform and provides direct links to the terms of use and privacy policy. This addition enhances transparency for users and compliance teams.
