Mailchimp

Mailchimp is a leading email marketing and automation platform that helps businesses manage and engage their audience through targeted email campaigns, automation workflows, and customer segmentation. It offers features like email list management, audience insights, A/B testing, and integration with various third-party applications to streamline marketing efforts.

How to Integrate Mailchimp with ZBrain Flow

To integrate Mailchimp with ZBrain Flow:

  1. Initiate Mailchimp Integration – Click the ‘+’ button to add a new integration.

  2. Search for Mailchimp – In the search bar, type "Mailchimp" and select it from the available integrations.

  3. Choose an Action – Select the action you need, such as adding a subscriber, updating audience details, or managing tags.

How to Connect Mailchimp to ZBrain Flow

To enable seamless interaction between Mailchimp and ZBrain Flow, follow these steps:

Connection Establishment Steps

  1. Enter a Connection Name

    • Provide a unique name to identify your Mailchimp connection in ZBrain Flow.

  2. Click ‘Connect’

    • This will initiate the authentication process for Mailchimp.

  3. Log in to Mailchimp

    • A Mailchimp login pop-up will appear.

    • Enter your Mailchimp account credentials and proceed.

  4. Grant Permissions

    • Approve the required OAuth permissions for ZBrain Flow.

    • This allows ZBrain Flow to manage subscribers, lists, and tags securely.

  5. Save the Connection

    • Click ‘Save’ to finalize the connection setup.

Once connected, ZBrain Flow can interact with Mailchimp to automate email marketing workflows, manage audience segments, and enhance customer engagement.

Actions Available in Mailchimp Integration with ZBrain Flow

1. Add Member to an Audience (List)

This action allows you to add a new subscriber to a selected audience (list) in Mailchimp. You can specify their details, such as name, email, and subscription status.

Configuration Steps:

  • Select an existing connection or create a new one if not already set up.

  • Enter the first and last name of the new contact.

  • Enter the email address of the new contact.

  • Select the target audience (list) where the contact should be added.

  • Choose the subscription status from the following options:

    • Subscribed – The contact will start receiving emails.

    • Unsubscribed – The contact is removed from email campaigns.

    • Cleaned – The email address is invalid or undeliverable.

    • Pending – The contact needs to confirm their subscription.

    • Transactional – The contact will only receive transactional emails.

2. Add Note to a Subscriber

This action allows you to add notes to a subscriber’s profile, which can be useful for tracking interactions or adding internal comments.

Configuration Steps:

  • Select an existing connection or create a new one.

  • Choose the audience (list) where the subscriber exists.

  • Enter the subscriber’s email address to locate their profile.

  • Enter the note content that you want to attach to the subscriber.

3. Add Subscriber to a Tag

Tags allow you to segment your audience into different categories for personalized marketing campaigns. This action assigns a tag to a subscriber.

Configuration Steps:

  • Select an existing connection or create a new one.

  • Choose the audience (list) where the subscriber exists.

  • Enter the subscriber’s email address to identify them.

  • Enter the tag name or click ‘+ Add Item’ to create a new tag.

4. Remove Subscriber from a Tag

If a subscriber is no longer relevant to a specific category, you can remove the assigned tag from their profile.

Configuration Steps:

  • Select an existing connection or create a new one.

  • Choose the audience (list) where the subscriber exists.

  • Enter the subscriber’s email address to locate them.

  • Enter the tag name to remove or click ‘+ Add Item’ to select multiple tags.

5. Update Member in an Audience (List)

This action allows you to modify subscriber details or update their subscription status in an audience.

Configuration Steps:

  • Select an existing connection or create a new one.

  • Enter the subscriber’s email address to locate them.

  • Choose the audience (list) where the subscriber is stored.

  • Update the subscription status from the following options:

    • Subscribed – The contact will receive email campaigns.

    • Unsubscribed – The contact opts out of receiving emails.

    • Cleaned – The contact’s email is marked as invalid.

    • Pending – The contact awaits confirmation for subscription.

    • Transactional – The contact will receive only transactional emails.

Note:

  • Click 'f' to insert dynamic values for flexible configurations.
