This section outlines how users can review and manage their file content within the knowledge base. The Knowledge Source feature allows users to edit metadata, view technical details such as chunking strategy and embedding time, and manage document chunks by editing, disabling, or adding new ones. Users can also generate summaries of their files using available models, with options to download or delete the content as needed.
From the βKnowledge Base,β click on any knowledge base you created.
You will be directed to the βKnowledge Sourceβ tab. There, click on the file name again.
Select the document type.
Here, you can edit the metadata and save your changes. Below, you can view additional details of the data, including technical parameters such as chunking strategy, total number of chunks, average paragraph length, and embedding time.
You can also view the total number of paragraphs divided into chunks. To edit a chunk, click on it, then click the pen icon to make your changes. Once done, hit the 'Save' button.
If you want to disable a chunk, select the specific chunk, click the toggle switch labeled 'Active' to make it inactive, and then click the 'Save' button.
You can add a new chunk by clicking the βAdd Chunkβ button. You can also download or delete the file as needed.
Click on the βFile Summaryβ tab.
Next, select an appropriate model from the available options and press the 'Summarize Document' button.
You will then receive a summarized version of your file or document. If you are not satisfied with the summary, you can create a new one by clicking the 'New Summary' button. Additionally, you have the option to download or delete the file.
